Restorative Dentistry

Restoring Your Natural Brilliance

Nature gave you a great smile. Embrace your natural teeth as much as possible. Our restorative dentistry services focus on helping you get back the smile the nature gave you by protecting your teeth and adding extra support to the structure of your smile. If it’s not broken, there’s no need to fix it, which is why we tailor our restorations to give you only what you need.

Don’t let decay ruin your teeth. Let us remove the decayed parts of your tooth and restore it. Depending on your specific needs, we offer both amalgam and composite filling materials. Our filling materials are both durable and safe, and our composite material blends with your enamel for a more natural look.

Crowns & Bridges

Dental crowns repair teeth that are damaged or fractured by placing a custom-made cap over the existing tooth structure. These caps are made of porcelain and expertly matched to the same shade as your other teeth. Crowns are often used as additional treatment to a tooth that has received endodontic therapy.

If you have a missing tooth, and the surrounding teeth are healthy, you can opt for a dental bridge to replace the missing tooth. Bridges consist of a prosthetic tooth anchored in place on each side by a dental crown. The crowns support the restoration, which works best when the surrounding teeth are naturally healthy. We’ll evaluate your case and determine whether porcelain fused to metal (PFM) or metal-free bridges are best suited to your needs.

When you’re missing teeth, the healthy teeth surrounding the gap can shift. Partials are one option for patients who are missing a series of teeth to prevent that shifting. You’ll regain functionality of your mouth, experiencing an improved bite and speech.

No matter why you’ve lost your teeth, you still want a beautiful smile. Dentures can help you get that sparkling smile after you’ve suffered severe tooth loss. Our dentures are custom created to ensure a perfect fit to your unique bite. Ask us about implant-retained dentures for additional fitting options.

When you can’t have your natural teeth, you need the next best thing. Implants function like natural teeth, and they feel just like the teeth you’re used to. As an alternative to dentures and bridges, Dr. Hibbert can place and restore your implants right in our office. Visit our Implant Dentistry page to learn more!

Root Canals

If your tooth is infected or severely decayed, you may need a root canal, or endodontic, therapy to restore your tooth. We may recommend a root canal treatment in the event that your natural tooth can be saved. In doing so, we remove the diseased pulp and fill your tooth with a composite material that blends in with the rest of your tooth. We’re able to perform both anterior and premolar root canals in the comfort of our office. We may even be able to handle molar endodontics as well, depending on the severity of the case.

Oral Surgery

If a tooth can’t be saved, it may to be extracted. In these cases, our compassionate team of professionals will ensure you are relaxed throughout the entire procedure, making sure you remain comfortable. We perform minor extractions as well as removal of wisdom teeth and bony impactions right in our office. See how we can help you today.
